Stockholm Day 2

Okay, so this is day two in Stockholm and we are having a super time. Today we visited the Vasa Museum and the National Museum. Both were really interesting but I think that everyone agreed that the best part of the day was when two twenty year old sweeties came gently up to Kris and said, "Annie, Annie". Kris turned around and said "Nay". The young man said "Annie Liebowitz?" as he held out his hand with a pen and pad of paper for an autograph. Kris again said, "Nay". Poor guy went away dejected. If you have seen Kris and Annie......you know that Kris looks very similar to Annie.

Is it Annie? or Kris?

Also, I have to clear about a little confusion......that picture of the bed from yesterday's blog? That wasn't really the bed that we slept in.....that was a picture of a bed from the Skansen museum. Cool beds but the beds we slept in are pictured below. Much more comfortable.

This is what we have learned about Sweden so far:

• the people are very friendly and seem very happy.....
• the weather is much cooler than southern Indiana and Illinois.
• Swedish days are looooonnng, it is midnight and still light outside (probably why everyone seems so happy).
• they seem to love and respect their little children.
• they have great public transportation.
• there is a lot of water.....

We wish all of you were here with us! But it has truthfully been wonderful so far! Tomorrow Kris tests her foreign driving skills as we drive south to Smaland.
